We are a group of BYU EMBA Alumni that founded and run this fund as a volunteer effort. We work with alumni, students, and faculty to identify students in need and provide financial assistance. To date, we have granted multiple scholarships and continue to accept applications.

Any current BYU EMBA student is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

We collaborate with faculty, student leadership, and the students themselves to assess financial need. Scholarships are awarded based on need. The Endowment Board reviews cases without personal details, and votes on the outcome. Payments are made directly to the BYU EMBA office to cover tuition.

Please click on the "Donate Now" link, which will direct you to the LDS Philanthropies page. Ensure that "EMBA Replenishment Grant" is selected. You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation. Additionally, you can support the fund by providing EMBA Capstone projects, where funds collected from businesses go directly into the EMBA Endowment Operating fund.

We offer this option to the students receiving support. While some prefer to keep their situations private, others are willing to speak at events and engage with donors.

Yes! Donations made through LDS Philanthropies are tax-deductible as they are a 501(c)(3) organization.

We will send out updates when scholarships are awarded and provide news regarding the fund. Expect to receive no more than 3-4 emails per year. We will not share your contact information outside the EMBA Board.

100%. Our organization is volunteer-led with no overhead, as LDS Philanthropies and BYU provide the necessary infrastructure and support.

You may make a donation for a current or future student through the fund. We cannot create a new fund or named scholarship in honor of a person. Donations can be made privately or publicly named.

The scholarship fund directly impacts students in need, particularly those who face unexpected life changes, such as divorce or job loss, during the program. Your support helps these students continue their education during challenging times.

The "EMBA Replenishment Grant" refers to the EMBA Endowment fund. While we originally qualified as a Replenishment Grant, we have since raised over $300,000, which places us in a different category of fund. Please note that the LDS Philanthropies website has not yet been updated to reflect this change.
